This course examines the legal complexities and challenges faced by educational leaders in P-12 settings. Through the study of landmark court cases, statutory frameworks, and emerging legal trends, students will explore topics such as student rights, special education, teacher discipline, and governance. Emphasis is placed on understanding legal principles, applying them to real-world scenarios, and developing proactive strategies to address contemporary legal issues in education.
