BUS 60001 - Experiential Learning The course is a valuable real world, resume building experience. Consulting teams of students are matched to business project needs. Guided by faculty experts, these consulting arrangements ensure projects are managed on schedule and to specifications. Sponsor of the project provides input that is critical to overall evaluation.
Cr. 3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Work as teams to provide useful information and data to help company make sound decisions.
2. Examine company in their current operating environment.
3. Investigate role of government and their regulatory powers for business.
4. Identify the major factors affecting company performance using real world situations.
5. Understand changes in company’s industry if relevant.
6. Gain factual knowledge of the company’s operations as they change from period to period.
7. Apply sound financial analysis to support recommendations.
8. Provide revenue and earnings forecasts based on financial projections.
9. Present findings and recommendations at end of semester.
