INTD 30001 - Healthcare Design

In this course, students will gain a better understanding of healthcare design. The topics include the evolution of healthcare architecture, the different types of healthcare buildings, evidence-based design, green hospitals, and the implementation of research evidence in healthcare design. Additionally, case studies of healthcare design are presented to examine how design can impact human health and behavior. Patient room design and nursing unit design are studied in this course.

Preparation for Course
P: INTD 11200 and 20100 with grades of C- or better.
