ITC 41200 - IT Auditing
This course introduces information technology auditing, standards, regulations and risk management. Topics covered will be auditing techniques related to data centers, operating systems, network hardware, web, databases, storage, mobile devices and outsourced operations. Current IT auditing frameworks, standards, laws and regulations will also be covered.
Preparation for Course P: ITC 18000 or ITC 33100.

2. Explain the concept of disaster recovery/business continuity and the need for it in organizations.
3. Determine what information controls and entities need to be audited within data centers, platforms, networks, databases, applications and business processes.
4. Understand compliance requirements for outsourced operations such as cloud providers.
5. Deploy existing frameworks and standards.
6. Know industry regulations for IT assets and internal controls.
7. Describe the benefits of risk management and analysis in IT systems.
