INTD 30900 - Interior Design III
The development and application of spatial concepts through the design of a commercial/institutional interior project. The course incorporates contents of all prerequisite courses. Presentation techniques will be emphasized.
Preparation for Course P: INTD 20100 and 30800 (or equivalents).
Cr. 3. Hours Class 2, Studio 3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Develop design concept for healthcare and institutional projects.
2. Familiar with healthcare and institutional project design standards.
3. Using research evidence in developing design concepts (Evidence-based design).
4. Students will have better understanding of design process and space planning particularly for healthcare design and institutional design.
5. Students will be able to present design concepts through digital media (2D drawings and 3D models)
6. Students will be able to specify materials and select colors that are suitable for healthcare design and institutional design
7. Understand and apply basic standards and building code to the projects.
