EDU 45300 - Management Of Academic And Social Behavior

Surveys principles of behavior management as they pertain to educational environments. Students will learn how to define, observe, measure, record, and change academic and social behavior.

1. Demonstrate an understanding of the theoretical frameworks of behavior and basic terminology associated with those theories.
2. Apply behavioral procedures with regard to the assessment and monitoring behavior.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of the selection, preparation, and methods of utilizing materials pertinent to the instruction of students with challenging behaviors.
4. Identify and describe intervention procedures and resources associated with Positive Behavioral Teaching Plan.
5. Demonstrate an understanding of student differences and learning environments through inclusive, positive and productive schedules and settings.
