ENGL 45400 - American Literature Since 1914 Provides an understanding of the pivotal literary innovations and cultural changes during this period. Literary movements such as naturalism, realism, and modernism may be the subject of focus, as might changes in race and gender relations, labor politics, immigration policies, regionalism, and the increasing shift from agricultural to urban economics.
Preparation for Course P: ENGL 20201 or 23301 (or equivalent).
