This course facilitates the acquisition of collegiate academic skills for first year students by applying strategies of critical thinking, independent learning, reading, and writing in relation to specific academic disciplines. Formats vary according to the course to which it is linked. Students must earn a grade of C or better to fultill the reading requirement.
