PSY 523 - Introduction to Theories of Psychotherapy A survey of the major approaches to psychotherapy, including their theory of illness and cure. Three traditions are represented: psychoanalytical (e.g., Freud, Adler, Jung), behavioral (e.g., Miller and Dollard, Wolpe, Stampf), and cognitive-phenomenological (e.g., Rogers, Kelly, Binswanger).
Preparation for Course R: introductory course in theory of personality (e.g., PSY 420).
