STAT 519 - Introduction to Probability Algebra of sets, sample spaces, combinatorial problems, independence, random variables, distribution functions, moment-generating functions, special continuous and discrete distributions, distribution of a function of a random variable, and limit theorems.
Preparation for Course P: MA 510 with a grade of C or higher or C: MA 441.
