GER G415 - Perspectives on German Literature Study of one aspect of German literature: formal, historical, political, psychological, etc. Relationship to wider concerns in and outside of literature. Topic announced in the Schedule of Classes. May be repeated once with a different topic.

Cr. 3. Variable Title (V.T.) Notes In general, grades of Incomplete are not given in 100- and 200-level language courses. Study Abroad Indiana University or Purdue University students with an appropriate command of German may apply for a year’s study, with full credit, in the IU program at the University of Freiburg; participation is not limited to German majors. The fourth or fifth semester of German may be taken during six weeks of full-time study abroad in the summer in Graz, Austria. Semester programs are available in Munich and Freiburg.
